BUOY BOY BIRDFEEDERS

Individually named and numbered, these functioning birdfeeders are made from recycled fishing gear. The hollowed-out then carved styrofoam lobster  buoys hold about one litre of seed. Lift the hat to fill, the seed spits out on the tongue. About 60 cm / 24"long.   $60 + up.

BATHROOM BUDDIES

Brighten any room with these guys. Each functions as toilet paper, drink and magazine holder. Shown - 80 cm / 32" tall. $140  Larger sizes available and priced accordingly. Wood.

DANCERS

Our new line of indoor/outdoor stick folk or "Stickies" as we like to call them. Sculpted mainly fom birch or maple wood with moveable stone feet. This pair is 140 cm / 56" tall and costs $280. Various sizes available.

BENNI BOWHAND

This elegant fiddler shines in metallic green and gold. The head is carved seperately in a spruce burl ( you know, those round balls growing on evergreen trees) hence the name - Burl Buddies. Body in birch. Life-size 170 cm / 67"   $950

ACADIAN BIKER

This new line features Stickies matched up with some dump-diving material that we have recycled. Old bikes, grass cutters, golf carts or whatever! This bad dude was custom painted for the World Acadian Festival in Nova Scotia 2004. About 130 cm / 52" tall.  $450

GREENS TENDER
This basic guy drew plenty of attention on the Parrsboro Golf Club in 2004. Birch wood 175 cm high.    SOLD
ACADIAN SALTY DOGS

Another piece from the 2004 Acadian World Congress. The dog in the bow (that's the front) waves the Acadian flag. A lobster trap, complete with glass float and rubber lobster, is the base for the 12 foot (360 cm) wooden boat.   $1900

BLUEBERRY'S HALIBUT

Life-size wood carving in spruce and maple. The fish's tail acts as a magazine rack while the base reflects the view out of a ship's porthole. Named for my buddy Bruce "Blueberry" Wheaton and modelled after a fish he actually caught. 158 cm / 62"  2002  $700

DIVER DAN

Stickies can do almost anything, including scuba diving. Made from wood, real shells, sponge, seaweed and beachglass litter the base. 120 cm / 48"long x 60cm / 24" tall   2001  $250

STICKIES

These guys and gals can be custom ordered in nearly every size and color. Each has its own unique look and is made in wood.  90 cm / 36"   $80 and up

CALICO CAT

The fine feline still looks for a home. Please adopt this wooden beauty!  35 cm / 14"  2003  $145

SNOW OWL

Another practical use for spruce burls. This snowy has a bears large tooth for a beak.   2003  40 cm h  $135

FUNKY FISH

Fish, fish and more fish - that's life on the east coast. These two are 40 and 30 cm respectively and go for $90 and $65. Sorry for the unfinished, now finished base, on the orange fish. He now sits on an orange gypsum base even nicer than his buddy's. Available in many sizes and outdoor versions.

ACADIAN FLAG DOG
Our only dog so far, it looks like he jumped ship. Wood. 60 cm long.  $150
